Welcome to Me Old Vintage China where we take pleasure in catering your event with an Afternoon Tea served on our beautiful vintage crockery.
Our Afternoon Tea menu consists of finger sandwiches, home made sausage rolls and quiche. Scones served with lashings of clotted cream and strawberry conserve and a wide selection of traditional cakes. Everything is served on our gorgeous vintage crockery our collection has been lovingly selected from antique fayres, auctions and boot sales and are all genuine vintage – nothing is new! We are passionate about the beauty and nostalgia of vintage crockery and hire out our stunning tableware and accessories throughout Kent.
So how does it all work?
So how does it all work? You may just wish to hire the crockery and cater your own event. therefore we will deliver crockery to your event and collect when convenient. Crockery should be returned washed up. However, if you require us to wash it for you after the event there will be an additional charge of £1.00pp. For quotations, bookings and all other enquiries, please contact Marie on 07838 105162.

Me Old Vintage China can cater for Afternoon Tea from 8 to 120 people or a Finger or Fork Buffet from 20 to 120 guests.
We offer a choice of a quintessential English Afternoon Tea with unlimited tea and coffee or a traditional English buffet, Fork Buffet and our Mediterranean Buffet which can be served on our beautiful vintage crockery, or in keeping to the Mediterranean vibe on our gorgeous Sicilian inspired dishes and platters. Set Up and Waitressing
We arrive before the event and lay the tables with our stunning crockery, arranging the food on cake stands and pretty sandwich platters all very colourful and inviting. Waitresses will replenish the food and ensure there is a constant flow of beverages. Waiting staff are £12ph and you will need one waitress/waiter for every 15 guests. Once the event is over we will clear away the crockery for you.
Buffets
We offer a choice of a Finger or Fork Buffet OR our Mediterranean Finger and Fork Buffet which can be served on our beautiful vintage crockery, or in keeping to the Mediterranean vibe on our gorgeous Sicilian inspired dishes and platters. Please see our menus for more information.
Buffet Service
We provide a few options for buffets. We can drop the food on black buffet trays with clear lids if so required these will need to be washed up and collected OR try our cardboard trays which do not have to be returned and can be put in the recycling bin after your event. Or if you want a beautifully dressed table on our vintage crockery which you can either return washed up or we shall wash it up for you at an additional costs of £1.00pp.
Afternoon Tea in a Box
Perfect for days down the beach, picnics, corporate events or if you simply require the food only.
The box comprises of a selection of sandwiches, homemade sausage rolls, quiche, scones with clotted cream and jam and a selection of cakes beautifully presented in a box. A minimum order of 10 is required with the exception of Mother’s Day when a single box can be delivered locally
